Brooks loves being a big boy and wearing Daddy's Braves hat.
Sometimes he gets so excited it's like he can't get all the excitement out and just strains to scream
Brooks has recently found his feet and they are quickly becoming his new favorite toy. He tries and tries to pull them into his mouth but his belly and thighs are too chubby and he just can't do it :-)

Happy Easter

Brooks loved all the fun stuff the Easter Bunny brought him. A couple of great teething toys, fun Easter books, a wonderful Baby Bible, and a couple of movies! He loved the fire engine Easter basket that Granddad Chandler gave him.

New Tricks

In the last couple of weeks Brooks has developed some exciting new skills that I thought I'd share photos of. He sucks his thumb regularly now (it's really cute, but not exactly a habit I wanted him to pick up :-). He has started licking his lips and sticking his tongue out like a lizard (this is a little harder to catch in a photo). He also  can sit up unsupported for a little while. I've also included a pic of Brooks in his new rainforest jumperoo (thanks Grandma Johns)!
