Look Kids, A Deer!

What a wonderful Christmas we had this year.  It was great to be with Grandparents that love their Grandson.  They could not get enough of Brooks.  Family time is the best time.  Brooks received many great gifts from Santa this year.  Good thing he doesn't need to fit in his Santa suit anymore because we would have to make it into cutoffs.  That may look pretty cool here in Jasper.  He is now over 13lbs and gaining.  He smiles a lot and loves to sleep.  As we were traveling we thought we were going to see Chevy Chase on the interstate after spotting this vehicle.

So Excited for Brooks' 1st Christmas

Brooks is getting excited for his first Christmas. We even caught him sneaking a peek at the presents under the tree :-)

Thanksgiving with Family

We had fun visiting with our families for Thanksgiving. Granddad Frank taught little Brooks how to use the remote control (an important male skill for Thanksgiving and every other day :-)

The great moments in the first week

This is all new to me but there have been a few key moments in Brook's life in the first six days. One was his 1st bath and the second was his 1st college gameday. He was all decked out for Saturday's GA game even though we had to listen to it on the radio. The good news is that Munson's voice soothed his little soul.

He's finally here!!

Brooks Chadwick Chandler was born October 31st, at 4:29 a.m. He was 6 lbs 12 ounces and was 19 inches long. Mom and Baby Brooks are doing really well.

We are just 8 days from our little guy's due date (November 6)! We are eagerly awaiting his arrival. Here are some pics of his room that is ready and waiting for him.
