We took Brooks to the open house of the new Cobb County Safety Village this weekend. There was lots of neat stuff to see (fire trucks, SWAT tanks, Police horses, etc.).
Brooks loves to dress up in other people's things. His favorite is big people shoes. I usually wear flip flops or tennis shoes, so when I busted out the heels for my class reunion Brooks thought they were especially neat. He doesn't discriminate against little stuff though. Here he is trying to wear Mr. Potato Head's glasses :-)
We are trying to make a tradition of taking Brooks to a Braves game at least once a year. Of course we are including other long standing Chandler traditions with that like...
Pre-game meal at the Varsity. Neither Brooks nor Caleb would leave their Varsity hats on for very long though.
We have a tradition of pancakes on Saturday mornings. We love blueberry pancakes, especially Brooks. This morning he ate 3 1/2 pancakes (his personal record).
Brooks got his first big boy haircut on Thursday. He was very unsure at first and had to sit in Daddy's lap. About half way through the haircut he realized that the sucker I kept offering him was a good thing. Here is the finished 'do
