Mini Funky

Brooks got a harmonica a few weeks ago and is following in the footsteps of his Granddad, Uncle Funky. If you have seen Uncle Funky perform, it is clear that this particular dance move with the harmonica must be genetic.

Snow day!

We got snow on Thursday night (and a fair amount of ice). We took Brooks out on Friday morning to play in the snow, braving the 17 degree/7 degree with windchill weather. Quite a cold spell for Georgia. Brooks had so much fun playing in the snow and sliding on the ice. We tried making snowballs but the snow wouldn't stick together :-( Brooks sobbed when we made him come inside even though his snot was frozen to his face!

Brooks' Second Birthday

We celebrated Brooks' second birthday and Halloween with all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin Caleb in attendance.

Brooks and Daddy dressed up like hunters to go trick or treating.

Brooks really got excited about trick or treating when he realized he got lollipops (his all time favorite candy). He started requesting lollipops at each door he went to :-)

Brooks got so many fun presents for his birthday. He was especially excited about his new bike.

After the party, Brooks and Caleb played a little backyard football :-)

Brooks' First Trip to the Zoo

So I'm a little behind on updating our blog (about 5 months). I'm going to hit the highlights of the last five months in a few posts and try to do better about staying on top of it. For my birthday back in August, Justin took Brooks and me to the zoo. Brooks loves animals and was in awe the whole time.
