Happy First Birthday Brooks!!!

Brooks celebrated his first birthday with friends and family on Saturday. What a blast.
Brooks had lots of help opening his presents.
"Look at all my fun new toys"
Brooks wasn't so sure about the cake. He didn't really know what to do with it.
"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to."

Thanks everybody who came to celebrate Brooks' big day.

Costumes with Caleb

We got together with Cousin Caleb for a photo shoot in their Halloween costumes.
The little chunky monkey
Neither of them could figure out why the other was dressed so funny.

Brooks didn't want to stop playing to take pictures

One year redo

We thought for kicks we would take a redo pic of Brooks on Justin's arm. Here are the attempts. Brooks was not as sleepy and cooperative as a he was a year ago :-)

My new wagon!

Brooks loved helping Daddy put together his new wagon that Grandma and Pop Chandler gave him for his birthday.

Happy Halloween and Happy Birthday Brooks!

Brooks turned one on Halloween. I can't believe he is such a big boy. It was a big day for Brooks. Mommy wasn't thinking and scheduled his doctor's checkup (which included shots), so he wasn't feeling his best come trick-or-treating time. He held up the best he could though.
Heading out to trick-or-treat
Mommy's little turkey.
Trick-or-treating (Brooks thought the candy was toys and kept throwing them on the ground)

Grandma and Pop Chandler gave Brooks a wagon for his birthday that really came in handy for our trip around the neighborhood.

My little turkey was all tuckered out halfway around our loop.

A Trip to Cagle's Dairy.

We went a few weeks ago to Cagle's Dairy with the Reinhardts for some fall fun. There was a corn maze (Ryder got us through it successfully), tractors, and bouncy toys. Brooks was a great sport, but will probably enjoy it more in years to come.
Out plowing his fields.
Ryder, Kent, Melanie, and Marley Reinhardt. And of course the corn maze scarecrow.

Such a big boy.

We went to Aunt Granny's house in Chattanooga for her house warming party. Brooks was the star of the party (in my mind of course).

He wants to be a big boy so bad and loved playing with Cameron's bike and helmet.
